Morning Readiness is an iPhone app, with an Apple Watch companion and widgets, that gives you a transparent daily readiness score from your overnight recovery. It is built to run entirely on your device. The developer does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your data.

Data the app accesses

To compute your score, the app uses Apple's HealthKit framework to read the following, all of which stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch:

• Heart Rate Variability (HRV / SDNN) — read: your overnight readings, compared against your own personal baseline.
• Resting Heart Rate — read: an elevated resting pulse lowers the score.
• Sleep — read: last night's time asleep, used as a light modifier.

The app only reads this data — it never writes anything back to the Health app. You control these permissions in the Health app and can revoke them at any time.

How your data is processed

• Your score is computed on your iPhone. The data and the result never leave your devices.
• The app may refresh your score in the background using HealthKit background delivery, so a fresh number is waiting for you in the morning. This processing also happens entirely on-device.
• Your latest score is shown on your Apple Watch and in widgets. It is shared between your own iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's on-device frameworks (WatchConnectivity and a shared app group) — never through any server.

Data the app collects or transmits

None. Morning Readiness has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Your health data is never sent off your devices by this app. It is processed locally and is never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining, and is never disclosed to any third party.

Purchases

The optional one-time "Unlock" purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app never sees or stores your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
